Adrian Joseph Valdez, 28, a resident of Espanola, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elena Valdez, great-grandfather, Belarmino Valdez, great-grandparents, Joe and Monica Love, great-grandparents; Salvatore and Santina Chiello and uncle, “Tio Mino” (AB) Valdez.\r\nAdrian was a proud member of the Local Union 611 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.\r\nHe was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Everyone who knew Adrian was blessed with his presence of joy and laughter. He was a hard worker and did everything with his big heart and passion.\r\nAdrian is survived by his parents, Tony Valdez and Mary Anne Valdez; brothers, Isaac Valdez (Rachel Herrera) and Brian Valdez (JulieChristie); grandparents, Pete and Shirley Chiello, aunts and uncles, Rebecca Arnett (Tony), Tina Walker, Pete Chiello Jr., Gloria Garcia (Tommy), Lorida Valdez, Ralph Valdez (Josie), Dorothy Valdez and many other relatives and friends.\r\nPublic visitation will begin on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery \r\nPall bears: Joshua Espinoza, Julio Garcia, Ezequiel (Zeke) Garcia, Bryan Trujillo, Melaquias Valdez and Arturo Valdez Jr.\r\nHonorary Pallbearers: Isaac Valdez, Brian Valdez, Dennis Gallegos, Nico Borrego, Marty Valdez Jr., and Lavine Otto.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (322 Eighth Ave. 7th Fl.
