Adrian Theodore Duran 1977- 2024

Adrian Theodore Duran was called home on August 4, 2024. Born to Freddie T. Duran and Rebecca Duran on May 8, 1977. Adrian grew up in Española, New Mexico. 

Adrian worked in construction as an electrician, but loved fishing, playing basketball, weaving, cooking and generally keeping busy in his free time. He will be remembered as a fantastic cook who always made the best food. Above all, and most importantly, he loved to spend time with his family. 

Adrian met the love of his life and mother to his children, Antonia Trujillo, in 2002. His love for family ran deep, always ensuring the care and well-being of his three children. 

Adrian was preceded in death by his father Freddie; his grandmother Mable Duran; and his uncle Jerry Rodriguez; and grandparents Fidelia and Eugenio Rodriguez. 

He is survived by his three beautiful children Alyssa, Reina, and Jeremiah Duran; his mother Rebecca; his brother Alfred Duran; his niece Kayden Duran; his nephew Caleb Duran; his close cousin David Maestas; and his life partner Antonia; his Godparents Dennis and Caren Duran. He will be forever remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. 

Services for Adrian will take place at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz, NM, with a private family burial and a lunch to follow at Holy Family Parish Hall in Chimayo, NM.

Pallbearers will be Alfred Duran, David Maestas, and Phoenix Martinez, Joel Esquibel, Carlos Esquilbel, Lolo Duran, Dion Lucero, Vince Vigil, and Shawnito.
