Adrian Martinez - 85 years of age, a resident of Truchas, NM Born September 8th, 1926 Died July 13th, 2012. He was a rancher, auto salesperson, and security guard who lived and loved Truchas. He was the true definition of an excellent Son, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and friend. He was the ultimate storyteller, historian, and had the greatest love for his family and friends. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his Wife of 53 years, Adonaisa " Addie" Martinez from Truchas; Parents: Manuel and Rosarito Martinez from Truchas; Father and Mother in Law: Casimiro and Edubijen Montoya from Truchas; Brother, Santiago Martinez and wife Bertha from Espanola; Sisters: Anita Martinez from Truchas, Lucia Chavez from Truchas and Melinda Armijo and husband Willie from Albuquerque; Sister in Laws: Florinda Romero and husband Joe from Truchas; and Brother in Laws: Senovio Montoya from Truchas, Abel Montoya from Questa and Nick Sandoval from Truchas. Mr. Martinez is survived by his sons: Bobby Martinez and wife Tina from Alamogordo, Tommy Martinez and Lola Sandoval of Truchas and Bert Martinez from Truchas; Grandchildren: Andrea Martinez, Renee Martinez, Lianne Martinez from Espanola; Erica Martin and husband Dominick from Norfolk, Virginia, Dolores Martinez from Los Angeles, CA, Roxanne Martinez and John Dickson from Truchas, and Joseph Martinez and fiancé April Trujillo from Truchas, Adrian and Addie Martinez from Alamogordo; Special Care Taker and what he considered the daughter he never had, Margie Martinez and husband Danny from Truchas; Special Nephew, Randy Montoya from Truchas; Brothers: Manuel Martinez and wife Angie from Pojoaque, Gilbert Martinez and wife Lucille from Truchas; sister, Sister Rosario Martinez from Clyde, MO.; Sister in Law, Anita Lancaster and husband Dave from Las Vegas, Nev., Eufracia Montoya from Questa; Brother in Laws: Eluid Montoya and wife Bernadine from Truchas, Gilbert Montoya and wife Lugarda from Chimayo, Eustacio Montoya from Truchas; 5 great grandchildren: Damian, Kiana, Adam, Hailey and Andrew. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Truchas with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Truchas with burial to follow at Martinez Family Cemetery in Truchas. Serving as pallbearers will be: Roxanne Martinez, Andrea Martinez, Erica Martin, Dolores Martinez, Lianne Martinez, Renee Martinez, Randy Montoya and Joseph Martinez.
