Adelita M. - Age 69 - Santa Fe - Medina

ADELITA M. MEDINA, 69, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, November 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Espiridion and Flavia Espinoza; mother and father-in-law, Rafelita and Pedro Medina. Adelita was a member of the New Life Family Fellowship. She was a devoted Christian woman who was also known as a prayer warrior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was very generous and full of faith and love. Mrs. Medina is survived by her husband, Pete Medina of Santa Fe; adoptive mother, Mary Martinez and family of Alamosa, CO; children, Edward Medina and wife Linda of Santa Fe, Tilla Vasquez and husband Gilbert of Alcalde and Theresa Medina-Montoya and husband Paul of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Mallory, Kristen, Edward, Jr., Margarita, Angelica, Luisa, Gibbi, Nickolous, Zabadiah, Bianca, Kiara and Tyler; great-grandchild, Caleb; brothers and sisters, Susana Romero, Ruth Romero-Montoya and husband Michael, Joe Garcia and wife Bany, Levi Espinoza and Jose Valentin Romero and wife Diane; aunts and uncles, Guillermo “Willie” Espinoza and wife Celerina, Felipe and Sulema Romero and Maria Saida Duran and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the New Life Family Fellowship Church in Santa Fe. The family of Adelita M. Medina has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
