ADELINA “MAMICITA” MARTINEZ, 86, a lifelong resident of Hernandez, passed away at home on Thursday, May 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tito Martinez; brother, Willie Martinez; parents, Luis and Veronica Martinez. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children, Bernice Soto, Karen Gee, Raymond, Tim and Ralph Martinez; grandsons she raised on her own, Wally Martinez, Aaron, Julian and Jimmy Soto; additional grandchildren, Patrick Chavez, Nadine Lopez, Eric Gee, Steven Chavez, T.J. Martinez, Ray Martinez, Noaa Martinez, Ralph and Edward Martinez; great grandchildren, Aayden Elyas Soto, Esperanza Lopez, Angelique, Wally Jr., Fredirico, Aaliyah, Kenny, Marissa, Mickyla, Josh, Azariah; sisters, Feliz Martinez, Angie Serna, brother, Genaro Martinez and Ted Martinez, and many other relatives, loved ones and pets. Devotional services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola. Private Funeral will be held. The family of Adelina Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
