Adam Garcia

Adam B. Garcia , age 46, a resident of Chimayo, passed away peacefully after a short illness, early Saturday morning April 27, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Victor and Elisia Martinez and great-grandpa, Benito Martinez; his paternal grandparents, Bernabe and Fabiola Garcia; uncles, Henry Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, Delfin Garcia, and Bobby Martinez. He is survived by his parents, Ben and Flora Garcia; companion, Belinda Tafoya, sister, Vickie Archuleta and her husband Andy; nieces, Elisia Archuleta, Heather Martinez and Ashley Garcia; children, Mariah Moreland and husband Kenny, Aaliyah, Kiara, and Adam Jr.; granddaughter, LeAndra Moreland; a special aunt, Viola Martinez, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam was a very talented welder as his wrought iron work can be seen throughout many homes in the area. He was especially eager and prideful when working on projects for the family. His work will be a permanent reminder of the love he had for his family. Adam was especially close to his loving mother, father, granddaughter LeAndra, and companion Belinda whom he loved very much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Prayer service will be recited Thursday May 2, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Sangre De Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with burial to be held on Friday May 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senor De Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo.   Serving as honorary pallbearers are Elisia Archuleta, Heather Martinez, Andy Archuleta, Lance Martinez, Jonathan Zambrano, and MarkilLee Zambrano. Pallbearers will be his daughters, Mariah Moreland, Aaliyah and Kiara Garcia. The family of Adam B.
