AARON ROYBAL, 102, a lifelong resident of El Rancho, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Roybal; children, Eufemia, Billy, Alfonso, Gilbert and Abel Roybal I; brother, Salomon Roybal; sister, Erma Barela; son-in-law, Clyde Herrera; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Roybal is survived by his children, Gloria Roybal (La Consentida), Julia Manzanares and husband David, Jane Herrera, Esther Romero, Ruth Roybal, Lillian Duran, Nora Roybal and Donelia Roybal; Abel Roybal and wife Betty, Eloy Roybal and wife Mary, David Roybal and wife Judy, Manuel Roybal and wife Lucy, Paul Roybal and wife Alibna, Floyd Roybal and wife Vota, Luciano Roybal and wife Bernie, God-son, Horacio Roybal and wife Katie; 40 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-daughter and numerous other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Victory Faith Church in Española. A second devotional service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church in Jacona. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church in El Rancho. Burial to follow at the Assembly of God Cemetery in El Rancho with the following serving as pallbearers, Travis, Clarence, Abe, Chris, Gabriel, David Jr., Jonathan, James, Manuel Jr., Matthew, Amos, Wesley, Aaron and Denny. Honorary pallbearers named are, Ray, Eddie and Frankie Roybal, Phillip Gomez, Joel Duran, Teddy Salazar and Horacio Roybal.
