William Moss

William (Bill) D. Moss was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  Bill was born on November 25, 1924 in Verona, PA.  He is survived by his wife Olive Moss and their 3 children and spouses, David Moss (Jennifer L.), Suzanne Frary (John), and Dwight Moss (Nereida Ortiz), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Bill and Olive were married on October 21, 1951 in Denver, CO and moved to Los Alamos in 1953. Bill was a graduate from Sterling College, Kansas with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He was a staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a chemist in the Industrial Hygiene Group and was employed for 37 years, retiring in 1990. Bill enjoyed woodworking, gardening and traveling with family and grandchildren. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. The family is thankful for the many heartfelt condolences we have received.  Olive and family are very grateful to her grandson, Woody Moss, for the continued support and help he gave his Grandpa each day for the last years of his life. Bill is to be remembered by a private family service and will be missed by family, friends and coworkers. The family of William (Bill) D. Moss has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
