Tyler Webb, 29, of Los Alamos, died March 31, 2015 after battling a long illness. Tyler was born in Los Alamos on March 21, 1986. He attended Los Alamos Schools thru middle school. He was accepted, attended and graduated from High School at the North American Wilderness Academy (NAWA) in Redding, CA. Tyler was a member of the NAWA Snowboard Team in High School. After High School, Tyler joined and served in the United States Air Force. Tyler’s primary specialty was as an Aircraft Armament Specialist for Black Hawk Helicopter weapon systems. During his service in the USAF, Tyler was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and Air Force Training Ribbon. Tyler was stationed with the 563rd Maintenance Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. After his service in the USAF, Tyler followed in his dads footsteps and commercial fished for several seasons around Kodiak Island and in the Bering Sea. In between commercial fishing seasons, Tyler met the love of his life, Sara Howell. Tyler had a kind heart, infectious smile and was loved beyond words by his family. He always loved the outdoors. He loved snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, camping and his family. Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Harry Brown. Tyler is survived by his wife, Sara Webb; children, Gabriel, Dylan, and Kaylee Webb; parents, Kathi and Kane Fisher; brothers, Samuel and Jack Fisher of Los Alamos; grandparents, Clinton and Shirley Webb of Los Alamos and Larry Fisher of Belen; aunts and uncles, Terri and Roy Rogers of Boise, ID, Cindi and Carl Solomon of Las Vegas, NV, David and Chearsten Webb of Albuquerque, Kurt Fisher of Seattle, WA, and Kip and Roseanna Fisher of Denver, CO; great-aunts and uncles, Kathy and Donnie Folk and Bob and Phyllis Brown of Las Vegas, NV and great-grandmother, Dorothy Brown of Las Vegas, NV. Tyler also had many close cousins, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at the White Rock LDS Church, 366 Grand Canyon Dr. White Rock. Tyler will be buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery April 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers an account “Webb Children Memorial Fund” has been established at Los Alamos National Bank, 505-662-5171, where contributions will be accepted. The family of Tyler Webb has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
