Thomas Messick

THOMAS MITCHEL MESSICK, 47, a lifelong resident of Tres Piedras, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, August 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Teofilo “Toy” Padilla. Thomas was the most amazing father anyone could ask for. He was very talented, having many interests and loving unconditionally, not only family but to strangers as well. Mr. Messick is survived by his wife, Judy Faught of Kansas City, Kansas; mother, Yvonne Padilla of Tres Piedras; father, Jack Messick and wife Pat of Kansas City, Kansas; children, Michelle Messick and companion Donn Davies and Kristopher Messick and companion Myste Smith all of Taos; brothers and sisters, Chris Messick of Tres Piedras, Kristine Kours and husband Horst, Jeannine Alexander all of Seattle, Washington, Raymond Messick and wife Donna of Albuquerque, Rachel Padilla and companion Josh Gulley of Raton, Lisa Miller and husband Dale of San Cristobal and Jason Padilla and wife Evelyn of Taos; grandchildren, Johnny Messick and Athena Davies; nephews, Gabriel Padilla and Nicholas Padilla-Gulley and many, many friends, loving relatives in Tres Piedras and surrounding communities.
