TESSIE M. MARTINEZ, 38, a resident of Hernandez, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Tessie was preceded in death by her father, Luie Nelson Martinez; nephew, Louie Martinez; cousin, Eli Padilla, Joey Rael; uncle, Alex Trujillo; maternal grandparents, Cayetano and Esneda Trujillo, paternal grandparents, Luciano Martinez and many aunts, uncles and other relatives. She liked to cook and help people. She was a loving mother and took very good care of her son. Tessie is survived by her son, Jordan Garcia; mother, Mary Martinez; brother, Luie Martinez Jr. and wife Michelle, sister, Deven Martinez; nephews, Brandon Martinez, Timothy Martinez and James Martinez, niece, Shaniah Martinez; grandmother, Mary Martinez and husband Levi; Godmother, Lorraine Trujillo Macias and husband Alfonso; and her favorite uncles, Ronny Trujillo, Gerald Trujillo and wife Lori, and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Las Trampas Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at Las Trampas Catholic Cemetery.
