Steven "Rusty" Armijo

Steven (Rusty) Armijo, 71, a resident of Ranchos De Taos, passed away peacefully on Friday June 7, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Lily Armijo, siblings; Johnny and infant sister Louise Armijo; and padrinos Ramon and Cinconita Gurule. Steven worked for many years as a laborer and worked as a sheet metal journeyman and numerous sawmills around the area. He loved spending his spare time outdoors in which he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years Beverly Armijo, children; Isaac Armijo (Darlene), stepson; Roy Castillo (Terry), grandchildren; Isaac Martin Armijo and Lidia Castillo, his brothers and sisters; Barbara Charrette, Mary Ann Perry, Cathy Najar, JoAnna Lovato (Pat), Jake (Nancy), and Chris (Linda) Armijo, 30 nieces and nephews, and along with many cherished relatives and friends which Steven loved every one of them. Rosary will be recited on Friday June 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at San Francisco De Assisi Catholic Church in Ranchos De Taos.
