Rosa Medina

ROSA S. MEDINA, 95, a resident of Cordova passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delfinia and Santiago Sandoval; husband, Archie Medina; sisters, Fidelia, Juanita, brother, Ernesto; grandchildren, Renee, Andrew, Wally, Carla, Patty, Janice and James and her daughter-in-law, Irene.  Rosa was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, and reading. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Medina (Eva) of Alcalde, Andy Medina of Cordova, Ralph Medina of Cordova, Billy Medina of Santa Fe, Sammy Medina (Eileen) of Carlsbad, NM, daughter, Diane Medina of Santa Fe., Vangie Medina of Santa Fe, Tracy  Romero (Dion) of  Truchas; sister, Louise Archuleta of Albuquerque, brother, Elmer Sandoval (Clorinda) of Cordova; 37 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren plus many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at the Cordova Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 restrictions only 75 people will be allowed in the Funeral Home and you must wear a mask. Serving the family as pallbearers are Troy Fernandez, Gregory Fernandez, B.J. Medina, Jessie Medina, Aaron Medina, Isaiah Medina and Matthew Perez. The family of Rosa S.
