Nicholas Gallegos

NICHOLAS S. GALLEGOS, 30, a resident of Cundiyo, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 following a sudden illness. He was born on November 9, 1988 to Karen and Victor Gallegos. Nick was a gentle soul who was kind and respectful to all he met. His greatest achievement was fathering his daughters, Serenity (Rosie) and Mylena whom he loved and cherished. He was a loving son and brother. Marissa was the love of his life who is heartbroken. Nicolai will be missed by everyone who knew him. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his daughters, Serenity (Rosie) and Mylene; fiancé, Marissa Romero; parents, Karen and Vic Gallegos; sister, Sonya; uncles, George Gallegos (Olga), Rudy Gallegos (Theresa), Salazar (Marilyn), Ronnie Salazar (Florence); aunts, Lourdes Padilla, Frances Gallegos, Lisa Baca (Richard), Debbie Gallegos, Janet Martinez (Michael) and numerous cousins and friends many of whom were very special to him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and “sitters” of both St. Vincent Hospital and The Heart Hospital who treated our son with such care and compassion. A special thank you to Debbie and Jeanette who were present at his passing. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Light House Church in Chimayo.
