Nicholas Fresquez

Nicholas "Nico" Ryan Fresquez, Age 24, a resident from Chimayo passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Fresquez, grandmother, Annabelle Miera, great-grandmother, Lugarda Miera, great-grandfather, Juan Miera, grandfather, Jimmy Fresquez, uncles Michael, Jamo & Joe Fresquez, great aunt, Joann Miera, and godfather, Rudy Arzola. Nicholas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He is survived by his father, Leroy Fresquez Sr. and brother, Leroy Fresquez Jr. (Stacey), nephew and niece, Ian & Hailey Joyce Fresquez, grandparents, Elena Fresquez and Joe Galvan, aunt who helped raise him, April Trujillo and husband Kelly, aunts, Amanda Pacheco, Auntie Priscilla Garcia (Pete), Peggy Esquibel (Kevin), godmother, Polly Arzola, special great aunt and uncle, Pablita & Horace Esquibel, close cousins that he considered as aunts, Debbie Dixon (Martin) and Myra Vigil, aunts, Evelyn Vigil (Ramon), Lucy Rodriguez, Sharon Galvan (Dion), Martha Armijo (Steve), great uncle, Nino Fresquez (Corrine) and many other loving relatives and friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jaylend Maestas, Benji Perez, Owen Pacheco, Kevin Gallegos, Ernest Archuleta, Darren Sapcutt and Jerome Vigil and all his loving friends.  A rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 7, 2016 a 7:45 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo.
