Leroy Martinez

LEROY J. MARTINEZ, 73, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentin and Eduadra Martinez; brothers, Eliseo and Berlamino Martinez. Leroy is survived by his daughters, Yolanda (Gilbert), Nancy (Anthony), and Margie (Christopher, son, Leroy Martinez Jr.; grandchildren, Charlie, Leonard (Briana), Anthony, Daniel, Destiney (Dominick), Crystal, Christopher Jr. and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Nicholas; brothers, Estevan and Johnny “Foro” Martinez, sister, Epimenia Rodriquez and a lot of nephews and nieces that loved him. Leroy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at Nuestra Senora de Carmel Cemetery in Chimayo. Serving the family as pallbearers are Leroy Martinez Jr., Leonard Granados, Charlie Padilla, Anthony Padilla, Daniel Padilla, Chris Ortiz, and Victor Martinez. The family of Leroy J.
