Kenneth B. Trujillo (KT), a resident of Rio Rancho whose heart belonged to Rio Chiquito left this earth on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.  Kenny was preceded in death by his great grandparents Estevan and Clarita Trujillo of Rio Chiquito, Gabriel and Ida Maestas of Alcalde, Grandpa Santiago of Albuquerque, and Grandpa Joe Martinez of Hernandez. Uncles, Albert, David Trujillo, Mark Garcia, Roger, Walter and George Maestas and Aunts Donna Maestas, Feliz Salazar, Marie Vigil, and cousins, Anthony Ruiz and Donny Trujillo.

Kenny was a (2004)  McCurdy Graduate who was currently employed by the City of Rio Rancho.  KT had the ability to make friends and win your heart in a very short time.  Kenny never greeted you unless he had a big smile and a big hug to offer.  His familia loved him unconditionally just as he loved us.   His “Familia” consisted of an extraordinary number of special people in his life both blood relatives and special  friends.

Kenny is survived by Ayesha, the love of his life, his precious children Kylie, Kayden, and Kamerynn along with his parents, Clarita and Michael Trujillo, his brother, Tristan (Jaclyn) and his God Son Theodore, his Uncle Julio (Antonette) and his favorite hita Faithy, plus his grandparents, Toby and Elsie Trujillo and Rose Trujillo.  He is also survived by his in-laws, Everett and Eliza Martinez, his other bro Martin (Genesis),  Nana  Diane,  Grandma Esther and Great Grandma Nora.  Ken is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins (a special cousin Stevz) and all the friends he made throughout his many life adventures.

Serving as Pall Bearers are:

Tristan, Julio, Estevan, and Barney Trujillo, Martin and Everett Martinez, Jesse­ Rios,  Elias and Lucas Fresquez, Elias Salazar, Billy Romero, andTony Jacquez.

Honorary Pall Bears are:  The Dream Team, Mt. View Lobos, McCurdy Bobcats, NM Hoop Troop and the Cordova Hermanos de la Morada Padre Jesus Nazareno and his City of Rio Rancho colleagues.

Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, August  26, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 27 , 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish in Chimayo, NM with burial to follow at the Rio Chiquito Cemetery. All Covid-19 safety guidelines will be followed, also there will be no restroom facilities at Holy Family Parish.  The family of Kenneth (KT) Trujillo has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
