Julie Perez

Julie DiAnne Perez, age 42, our beloved Julie left this life on Sunday, May 8, 2016, and has started on her journey into God's heavenly kingdom into his waiting arms.  Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Juan and Sophie Herrera and her paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Antonia Perez, her uncles, Johnny and George Herrera and her cousin Stevie Herrera.   Julie was born on February 24, 1974 to David and Matty Perez, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Julie was a devoted Mother who loved her two sons unconditionally, she was so proud of all their accomplishments.  Julie had a bigger than life personality, her laughter was contagious and when she smiled she lit up the room. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking. She is survived by her loving sons, Chross and Luc Jaramillo, her ex-husband Rick Jaramillo, her parents, brothers David Perez (Jacqueline) and Daniel Perez, nieces, Haley and Ariel. Aunts, Eva Roybal (Gene), Shirley Roybal (Lenny), Valerie Martinez (Arsenio), Gloria Perez Vigil, Teresa Perez, Linda Martinez (Dale). Uncles, Steven Herrera (Virginia), Tommy Herrera (Debbie), Edward Herrera (Monique), John Perez, Sam Perez (Susan), Michael Perez (Yvonne) and numerous cousins, relatives and friends. Pallbearers are, Ernesto Herrera, Raymond Martinez, Kenny Jaramillo, Adam Garcia, Timothy Perez and Andres Martinez. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Catholic Church, with a burial to  follow at Nambe Pueblo Cemetery.
