Josephine Baca

JOSEPHINE E. BACA , 57, a resident of Chimayo, passed away following a lengthy illness peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Ramona Espinoza and brother-in-law, Rudy J. Baca. Josephine loved being outdoors fishing and camping. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Tomas Baca; children, Jerome B. Espinoza, Alyssia R. Baca and boyfriend Anthony Vigil; grandchildren, Jerome "JJ" and Jeziah Espinoza; brother, Manuel Espinoza and wife Betty; padrino and madrina, Paul and Doreen Garcia; nephews, Brian, Conrad and wife Anessa, Everette, and Diego Espinoza; great-nieces, Angelica and Hannah Espinoza; great-nephews, Giovanni, Conrado, Tristen, and Zecharias Espinoza; in-laws, Rosendo and Josie Baca; brother-in-law, Andy R. Baca, plus other loving relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Potrero Cemetery. The family of Josephine E. Baca has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
