JIMMY ESCOBAR CHAVEZ , 65, a resident of Pojoaque, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Jimmy was born in Mexico on September 9, 1954. He was an amazing, loving, caring father and grandfather. He was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and fishing with his nephew, Raymond. He read frequently to his grandchildren and never forgot a birthday. He was a professional wood finisher and painter for the State of NM before he got ill. He will be greatly missed by his family. Until the day we meet again daddy, we love you. He is survived by his children, Daniel and Nichole Chavez; grandchildren, Logan, Johnny, Kenan, Jayd, Mathias and Zacharias. Services are pending and will be announced. The family of Jimmy Escobar Chavez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
