JACOBO MARTINEZ, JR., 34, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacobo Martinez, Sr. and Edna Martinez; grandparents, Arlo Martinez, Sr., Cordilia I. Martinez; uncles, Victoriano Martinez, Zacharias Martinez, Sr. (Bambi), Arlo Martinez, Jr., Gilbert Martinez, Margarito Martinez and Maria Martinez who was like a daughter; like brothers, Hector Martinez and Zacarias Martinez, Jr. Mr. Martinez is survived by his children, Jacob III, Jaclynne and their mother, Martina Pacheco, Neveah Martinez and her mother, Jasmine Moya; step-daughter, Aaliyah Otero; brothers and sisters, Angela Martinez, Michael, Tilo, Bernardo and John, CC, Ramoncita and Michelle Martinez, AJ Sandoval, Manuel Vigil, Gerald Dixon, Savannah Martinez; nephew, Julian and Nicholas Martinez; uncles, Michael Martinez (Eremita); aunts, Fatima Martinez and Maryanne Salazar; grandmother, Margaret P. Martinez; cousin, Jerome Martinez and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., with a burial to follow at La Puebla Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Michael, Tilo, Bernardo and John Martinez, Joshua Trujillo, Arlo David Martinez, Michael Padilla and Marvin Pacheco. Honorary pallbearers named are, Ramoncita, Savannah, Michelle and CC Martinez, Lucas Naranjo (Luke Dog), Aaron Scheuermann (Creeper), Jesse Moya, Ivan Moya, and Shawn Trujillo (Icon).
