ISAAC FERMIN “SHOWTIME” MORFIN, 42, a resident of La Mesa de Poleo, passed away on May 28, 2016. Isaac was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Morfin; father, Fermin Morfin; grandparents, Manuel and Selida Morfin, maternal grandparents, Saiz and Ermelinda Trujillo; tio, Olivio Trujillo. Isaac loved to fish, hunt, and go horseback riding. He loved to be around his grandson, Joseph he was his pride and joy. He loved to make others smile, he touched the hearts of many people. His smile will be greatly missed. Isaac’s favorite place to get away was La Mesa de Poleo. Isaac is survived by his children, Ashley Morfin (Estevan DeVargas), Isaac Morfin Jr.(Adrianna Martinez), Jason Morfin, Daniel Morfin, and Esperanza Morfin; grandson, Joseph Morfin; parents, Robert and Nancy Martinez; siblings, Helen Morfin, Prescilla Serrano (Fidel), Vidal Martinez, Vanessa Martinez (Chris); nieces and nephews, Ryan Chacon (Daniel Leyba), Robert Gomez, Amanda Serrano (Isaac Trujillo), Melissa Serrano (Esteban Lucero), Fidel Serrano Jr. (Jasmine Cain), Rudy Gomez, Christopher Martinez, Miranda Martinez, Angelica Martinez, great-nieces, Serenity Trujillo, Julissa Trujillo, Heavenly Lucero, Alanaya Serrano and Jenay Montoya, great-nephew, Andres Leyba and many other friends and family. Public visitation will begin on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Victory Faith Church with a Devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at Victory Faith Church with a burial to follow at the Christian Faith Fellowship Cemetery in Gallina. Serving the family as pallbearers Fidel Serrano Jr, Robert Gomez, Rudy Gomez, Silvy Talamante, Michael Vigil, Matthew Vigil, Esteban Lucero and Jonathan Garcia, honorary pallbearers, Isaac Morfin Jr., Vidal Martinez, and his grandson, Joseph Morfin.
