Genevieve Harelson

Genevieve Harelson, 88, a resident of Española, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Shawsville, VA with her loved ones by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tuffy Harelson and son, Bob Harelson.  She is survived by her niece, Debbie (Sam) Zerwekh and nephew, Jim Matheson (Helen) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; and sister-in-law, Johnny Harelson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Española at 10:30 a.m. with a burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please make donations in memory of Genevieve to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  The family of Genevieve Harelson entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
