Flora F. Montoya

FLORA F. MONTOYA, 89, went peacefully to her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2019, with her family by her side. She was kind, sincere and loved having her family and friends around her. She was preceded in death by her parents Servando and Sabinita Fernandez, husband Trinidad and grandson Angelo. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra and husband Robert, and four sons – Perry, Wayne and wife Julie, Waldo and wife Emily, and Jimi and wife Pam. She is also survived by six sisters –Dee, Ufelia, Lita, Dorothy, Eileen, Mary and two brothers Walter and Richard. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren – Stella and husband Greg, Sonya, Adam and wife Matilda, Marlee, Reyna, Jaclyn, Kamilah, Kyana and Melissa. She had 7 great-grandchildren-Savannah, Madison, Adan, Xavier, Gabriel, Aiden, Ethan and many nieces and nephews. Flora’s family will welcome visitors from 5:30 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola. A devotional service will follow. Funeral services are Monday, February 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church in Chimayo followed by burial at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian cemetery. Pallbearers will be Perry, Wayne, Waldo, Jimi, Adam and Robert. Flora will be greatly missed but her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be remembered forever. The family of Flora F.
