Fabian Jaramillo, 50, a resident of Espanola, passed away unexpectedly after a medical event on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Fabian worked for Los Alamos National Labs as a foreign travel advisor and was an avid sports fanatic. He had a huge heart for the youth of Espanola and was a well-known umpire for the Espanola Little League, he was loved and respected in the entire Espanola Community. He stood out no matter where he went. He loved going fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan and can’t forget about his love for baseball and the Oakland A’s. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Fabian is preceded in death by his father Gilbert Jaramillo, brother in-law Robert (Balou) Cruz, maternal grandparents Benjamin and Filia Maestas, paternal grandparents TJ and Presiliana Jaramillo, grandparents Alfredo Bustamante, and Pablo and Concepcion Cruz. Fabian is survived by his wife Angie Jaramillo, mother Claudine Jaramillo, sister Beverly Chavez (Manuel), father and mother in-law Robert and Eleanor Cruz, sister in-laws Melanie Warner and Mary Goodman; his most beloved pet Khylie; nieces and nephews, Chantelle Bendezel, Natalia Ortiz (Peanut), Gene Ortiz (Brother Bear), Manuel Chavez Jr, Justin Chavez, and Autumn Chavez; best friends Robert Vigil and Karl Guinn; along with other numerous relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 6:00 pm at The Lighthouse Church in Chimayo with Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm. Serving the family as pallbearers are, Robert Vigil, Karl Guinn, Tom Borrego, Manuel Chavez, Justin Chavez and Hector Villareal.
