Eva Ortega

EVA ORTEGA, 24, a resident of Medanales, passed away on June 29, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Ortega; brothers, Donald Gurule, Gabriel Serrano and many other beloved relatives. Eva enjoyed spending time with her son. She graduated from the Northern New Mexico College. She enjoyed taking pictures, camping, fishing and music. Ms. Ortega is survived by her son, Malaki Vigil; mother, Elena Serrano; step-father, Don Herrera; brother, Amadeo Martinez; sisters, Melissa Martinez and Violet Coriz; grandparents, MaryAnn Gurule, Louisa Ortega, Andy Gurule and Jenny; mother-in-law, Rose Marquez; nieces and nephews, Jojo, Michael, Dominick, Faith, Arcenio, Gabriella, Luke, Noah, Jayden and Ariel and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Victory Faith Church in Española. Burial to follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde with the following serving as pallbearers, Shawndee, Oscar, Michael, Joseph, Dominick and Richard.
