DAVID E. ARCHULETA, 88, a resident of Cebolla passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia U. Archuleta; his parents Antonio P. and Marcelina Archuleta; brothers, Baltazar, Felipe (Florentina), Pablino (Margaret), Jose (Frances) Archuleta, sisters Susana Atencio (Antonio), Romanita Roybal (Vicente), Odelia Baker (Joe); brother-in-law, Ted Casados and sister-in-law Teddie Archuleta.  David is survived by children, Geraldine Archuleta, Ernie Archuleta and wife Cindee, Antoinette Maes and husband Juanito, David Archuleta and wife Denise and Ula Marie Binion and husband Travis; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. David is also survived by a brother Miguel Archuleta and sister Julia Casados.  He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged, later he worked and retired from the Federal Government and pursued his dream as a successful cattleman/businessman until his untimely passing.  He felt very grateful and blessed each day by the Lord often finding his most peaceful moments as he prayed the rosary daily.  He was very devoted to his family providing guidance, ensuring that they were always well taken care of.  He was a generous man and helped many people in need, he enjoyed reminiscing and sharing many of his memories with friends and family. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Santo Nino Catholic Church in Cebolla, with a burial to follow at the Santo Nino Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Anthony Cordova, Bo Binion, Brendon Edwards, Carlos Vigil, Daniel Maes, Esteban Archuleta, Issac Archuleta and Lauren Vigil. Honorary pallbearers named are grandchildren, Julia Archuleta, Victoria Maes, Tracie Binion, Rosalyn Moorehead, Amber and Cheryl Salaiz and great grandchildren Nathanial and Melanie Serrano, Avari, Mason and Aliah Moorehead, Jayden Vigil and Pablo Archuleta Jr.  The family of David E.
