Crystal Gallegos

CRYSTAL “SAD GIRL” GALLEGOS , 38, a resident of Española, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Gallegos; brother, Brian Gallegos; grandparents, Claudina and Lalo Salazar and Eloisa Gallegos; uncle, Andres Salazar and aunt, Alicia Salazar. Crystal was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed making people laugh and enjoyed listening to music. She loved her cat, Lucky. She was extremely close to her mom and her son and loved them dearly. Ms. Gallegos is survived by her son, Robert Padilla (Leah Ortiz); grandson, Robert Brian Padilla; mother, Josie Gallegos; brother, Jerome Gallegos (Monique Ramirez); nephew, Steven Gallegos; God-mother, Emma Madrid; aunts, Nora Barela, and Betty Martinez (James) uncles, Henry Salazar (Grace), Regino Salazar (Edna), Michael Salazar (Darlene), Eddie Salazar (Alicia) and Precy Sanchez and numerous other relatives and friends that she loved dearly. Public visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m.  Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Henry, Regino, Michael and Eddie Salazar, James Martinez and Gary Salazar. The family of Crystal “Sad Girl” Gallegos has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
