Brenda Archuleta-Martinez

BRENDA ARCHULETA-MARTINEZ, 61, a resident of Rio Rancho, formerly of Chamita, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her father, Tomas D. Archuleta; brothers, Wedo, Tito and Lio Archuleta; great-nephew, Xavior Martinez; in-laws, Jose Ambrosio and Celina Martinez, and numerous other loved ones. Brenda is survived by her husband, Eliseo “Cheo” Martinez of Rio Rancho; son, Eliseo Martinez, Jr. of Rio Rancho; granddaughter, Julianna Martinez “Mi Morenita” of Rio Rancho; mother, Manuelita Archuleta; sister, Angelica Archuleta both of Chamita; sister-in-law, Corine Trujillo of Alcalde; in-laws, Jenny Garcia of El Guique, Tina and Danny Noris of Los Alamos, Jeff and Vickie Martinez and Tommy and Shirley Padilla of El Guique; padrinos, Sef and Bertha Borrego and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. also at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial to follow at the San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita with the following serving as pallbearers, Tommy Padilla, Pete Garcia, Jeffrey Martinez, Carlos and Lucas Archuleta and Matthew Borrego. The family of Brenda Archuleta-Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
