BEATRICE O. ARCHULETA, 85, a resident of Dixon, passed away of a lengthy illness on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Gavino Gonzales, mother, Leonedes Gonzales; brother, Jose E. Gonzales; husband, Claudio Archuleta; baby daughter, Jenny Arabella Archuleta; special sister-in-law, Orcilla Trujillo; nephew, Gavino Gonzales; and comadre, JoAnn R. Lopez. Beatrice is survived by her son, Jerry Clyde Archuleta of Dixon, daughters, Sally Archuleta and companion, Rick Marine of Albuquerque, Becky Padilla; grandson Stevie Padilla both of Dixon, granddaughter, Linda and husband Nathan Medina of Albuquerque; daughter, Clara Lopez and husband Patricio of Peñasco; granddaughter, Ashley Crespin and husband David of North Carolina, grandson, Patricio Jason Lopez of Peñasco; son, Alex and wife Amy Archuleta of Rio Lucio; grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Archuleta of Rio Lucio; brother, Margarito Gonzales of Albuquerque; nephew, Richard Gonzales and wife Vangie of Dixon; special cousin, Benny Suazo of Dixon; compadre, Patricio Lopez and companion, Roxanne of Questa and George and Rosemary Fernandez of Rio Lucio; sisters-in-law, Eloisa Garcia of Dixon, Laura Medina of Las Cruces, Domitilia Archuleta of Dixon, Carlotta Roybal and husband Lebeo of Santa Fe, Lupita Archuleta of Dixon, Geneva Archuleta of Espanola, Shirley Archuleta of Dixon and many more special nieces, nephews and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Dixon, with a burial to follow at the Dixon Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers, Adam Archuleta, Patricio Jason Lopez, Patricio Lopez, Stevie Padilla, Rick Marine, and George Fernandez, honorary pallbearers, Andrew Archuleta, Ashley Crespine, and Linda Medina.
