Antonio Rendon

Antonio (Tony) H. Rendon, 81, a resident of Dixon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was a devout Catholic, active in his church and was the cemetery caretaker for many years. He worked as an Ironworker for nearly 25 years. He was a rancher, hunter, loved nurturing his vegetable garden and enjoyed watching baseball, and his beloved Lobos and Denver Broncos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sofia Rendon; Daughter, Geraldine Ann Rendon; Siblings: Louise Vigil, Annie Archuleta, Frances Jefferson, Clara Martinez, Peter Rendon, Gene Rendon. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Laura Rendon, daughter Gloria and husband Raymond Maestas of Hernandez, sons Anthony and his wife Lucy Rendon of Dixon, Frank and his wife Barbara Rendon of Dixon, Robert and wife Annabelle Rendon of Penasco, grandchildren: Marcos and Marissa Maestas, Sarah and Samantha Rendon, Nicole and Juan Maestas, Frankie and Brandon Rendon, Eric, Chris, Amy and Adam Rendon, greatgrandchildren, Izabella and Marisella Rendon, Dominic, Brayden, Aubrey and Jacob Maestas, Dylen Rendon and numerous relatives. Rosary will be recited on Monday August 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Sangre De Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Dixon with internment to follow at the Father Cooper Cemetery in Embudo.  Serving the family as pallbearers Raymond Maestas, Marcos Maestas, Juan Maestas, Brayden Trujillo, Frankie Rendon, Eric (Geno) Rendon, Chris Roybal, Alvin Valdez and Michael Martinez. The family would like to acknowledge and extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Giving Home Health Care and Ambercare for their support and care of our beloved Tony. Tony was a wonderful caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, he was loved by all and will be dearly missed. The family of Antonio H.
