Anthony Montoya

ANTHONY DOMINIC MONTOYA, 35, a resident of Ranchitos went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was preceded in death by is paternal grandparents, Jose and Antoninia Montoya and his maternal grandfather, Jose Octaviano Lujan. He worked construction in Española and Santa Fe building homes. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, playing baseball and playing with his sons. Mr. Montoya is survived by his parents, Benito and Cleo Montoya; sons, Ezerah Martinez and Lukas Montoya; brother, Patrick Montoya and sister-in-law, Suzanne; maternal grandmother, Dolores Lujan; uncles, Jose Montoya (Maria), Norman Montoya (Elisa), Arturo Montoya (Sara), Levi Montoya (Eva), Benny Lujan, and Miguel Lujan; aunts, Cordy Cordova (Tommy), Theresa Sandoval (Richard), Lucy Garcia (Nappy), Mary Archuleta, Nancy Livingston (Johnny), Mary Garcia, Petra Almeida (Rafael); nephew and nieces, Alexis, Jenna, and Patrick Montoya; very close friends, Luis Bustos, Rocky Espinosa, and many cousins and extended family. A public visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Coyote Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Ezerah Martinez, Luis Bustos, Rocky Espinosa, Richard Sandoval, Raymond Lujan and Mateo Garcia. The family of Anthony Montoya has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
