Alfred Lee

ALFRED LEE, 85, was born on November 4, 1934 in Cameron, Texas and passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 in Arroyo Seco. He was the son of Henry and Della Lee and grew up in Cameron, Texas. He later moved to Santa Cruz in 1961 to start his own business as a heavy equipment operator. Alfred met the love of his life, Gloria in 1961 and they were married in 1965. He enjoyed the casino, fishing and making his tractor dance. Mr. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria Lee; children, Alfred Lee, Jr. (Silver), Harvey Lee (Florence), Illene Manzanares, and Myra Lee (Lionel); he was currently raising his great-grandson, Gabriel Manzanares; grandchildren he raised, Liliarosa, Virgil (Elissa) and Mario (Contessa), Francisco (Martiza) and the remaining of his grandchildren, Josiah, Harvey, Jr., Kassandra and Michael; brother-in-law, Junior (Melanie); sisters-in-law, Beatrice and Placida and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
