Matthew J. Armijo, 30, a resident of Arroyo Seco, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Quintana, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Joe A. Armijo; aunt, Patti Armijo, uncles, Johnny Joseph and Michael Armijo; great-grandparents, Bianes and Emilia Martinez and Orlando and Lorencita Armijo. Matthew was a very loving and outgoing person who loved companionship and friendship. He always had a hug for everybody and loved to joke and play around. He loved sports and loved the Denver Broncos. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Matthew is survived by his mother, Nancy Armijo of Arroyo Seco; maternal grandmother, Helen Armijo of Arroyo Seco, paternal grandfather, Dan Quintana Sr. of El Rancho; uncles, Chris Armijo and wife Maria of Santa Fe, Tim Armijo and wife Lydia of San Pedro, and Joey Armijo and wife Nina of Arroyo Seco, aunts, Emily Valdez and husband Roland of Ojo Caliente, Peggy Armijo and companion Joseph of Arroyo Seco; his dog, Wolfie, and many relatives and many friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, with a burial to follow at San Jose Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers are David Lucero, Phil Tapia, Alfonso Armijo, Gilbert Armijo, Santiago Armijo, Orlando Armijo, Patrick Valdez and TJ Armijo. The family of Matthew J.
